1.     What’s DCMM?

DCMM means the "Data Management Capability Maturity Model", GB/T 36073-2018. Abbreviated as Data management Capability Maturity Model, it's the China first domestic data management standard. It helps enterprises use advanced ways to build and assess data management capabilities, optimize relevant aspects and unleash data's value for enterprise development.

2.     What does DCMM cover?

It contains 8 core competency domains: data strategy, governance, architecture, application, security, quality, standards, and life cycle, which are further subdivided into 28 process domains and 445 capability level standards.

3.     How many levels is the DCMM assessment divided into?

It is divided into 5 levels, from low to high, namely Initial Level (Level 1), Managed Level (Level 2), Robust Level (Level 3), Quantitatively Managed Level (Level 4), and Optimized Level (Level 5). Different levels represent different maturity levels of enterprise data management and application.
